General Rules (across all sessions):

[Updated Feb 6, 2017]

- Do not spam mic!!

Players who spam their mic, whether it be loud obnoxious noises, constant talking/ repeated questions, or simply leaving your mic on without realizing it (aka Hot Mic) will be ejected from the server. Stating your flight intentions PROPERLY, like your position in the traffic pattern, is NOT spamming. If you are unsure how to state flight intentions, please refrain from doing so all together.

- Do not go AFK on any runways, taxiways, or in the air.

Use the airport parking spaces or the carrier deck parking to go AFK. Going AFK in the air is allowed but only for a short period of time.

- Use the runways, taxiways, and ramps as they are intended.

Taking off from airport ramps and taxiways is not allowed and looks highly unprofessional. Rotary and Tiltrotor aircraft are partially exempt from this rule.

- Callsign/ tail number must be appropriate.

Any callsign that has a curse word or represents someone or something in a inappropriate manor is not allowed.

- Do not repeatedly buzz other aircraft.

Dangerously close flybys near aircraft both on the ground and in the air, especially near the carrier, is not allowed and can result in a kick from the server. A player may perform overhead passes over the runway as long as it conforms with the rules above. If you want to buzz a friend you know, please be sure he/she explicitly consents to the flyby (this is the only exception to this rule).

- Forming up on others is allowed.

This includes forming up on randoms, no permission is needed. However, If a player tells you not to form up on them, it will be considered a warning to fly away. Continuing to formation fly on someone who asked you not to will result in a kick from the server.

-Do not constantly fly at high speeds.

Players who keep their throttle stuck at full and fly around like a chimpanzee on LSD will be kicked from the server.

- Do not excessively use slew mode.

Slew mode may be only used for positioning an aircraft onto a parking space.

- [NEW] ATC is allowed at the host airport.

Any person wanting to provide ATC must have basic knowledge of how ATC works and its purpose; this includes basic phraseology. Aircraft flying in controlled aircpace are not required to contact ATC unless the pilots wants the services. This means the controller may not have control over some aircraft who just want to fly without ATC.
